2025 Annual Membership Meeting | Saturday | 09.13 @ 1pm

Docomomo US/Hawaii is pleased to announce our 2025 Annual Membership Meeting. The event is a time for members to get together, recap the past year's happenings, vote on new board members, and enjoy an amazing architectural space together.

In going along with Docomomo US National's theme of "sacred spaces," this year's meeting will be held at the Vladimir Ossipoff designed Aiea United Methodist Church. An often overlooked religious project of Ossipoff's, this unique, wood and concrete structure was built just after his more well-known Davies Memorial Chapel ('66), and Thurston Memorial Chapel ('67), but shares many of the classic Ossipoff details we've come to expect. An understated exterior, a journey through garden spaces to reach the front door, and an interior of warm wood, cool concrete, and dappled light.
